Notes from Peter Larson: Small tributary of the Meramec River known for its scenery and crystal clear waters. Much of it flows through national forest with several small, narrow sections that can create small rapids with enough flow. The upper reaches are only attainable with enough recent water while the lower stretches are enjoyed by floaters all summer long.
